Neil is an English actor from Ealing, London. He now lives in Stockoholm after moving to Sweden in September 2005 to live with his wife, Anna.
After many years working as an actor on the fringe theatre scene in London, Neil had the chance to give up his day job in the spring of 2003 and tour Italy for 9 weeks. This was a huge turning point in his life and career and has never since gone back to work full time behind a desk.
Most of the time Neil plays comedic character roles. This, somewhat, comes as no surprise as his great uncle was the late comedy entertainer Arthur Haynes who, at the height of his career in the 1960's had his own show on prime time TV called The Arthur Haynes Show.
Two of his most notable appearances, to date, on Swedish television have been on the hit TV series Hjälp!, directed by Anders S. Nilsson and written by Gustaf Skördeman, where he played hotel guest, Marvin Smith, and played opposite comedy actor Johan Rheborg's character Örjan Lax. Hjalp! was produced by Jarwoskij.
In the autumn of 2010 Neil will be seen playing opposite Sissela Kyle in TV4's, and Jarowskij's, new comedy sketch series called Välkommen Åter!
In November 2009 Neil played his first SWEDISH speaking role in front of the camera when he filmed an internal film with Swedish actor Olle Sarri.
Before moving to Sweden, Neil worked on TV shows Alan Partridge and The Frank Skinner Show.
